Sorry for a lack of posts of late, but I have been busy working on other peoples jobs, pitching on commercials with Slinky, and generally not finding much time to blog.
However, I have been temporarily reunited with an old friend.
The Periwig-Maker
Mackinnon & Saunders have been kind enough to lend me him for a talk I'm giving this week.
Its nice to see him again, and he hasn't aged a day!

Hi Phil, I visit here everyday, just in case. Plus, I like to watch the money meter rise on the left!
If only we could attend a talk of yours! Any chance of a podcast of these posted here, even for a Henry and Martha fund-raising type of "subscription" fee, so we, on the rest of the globe, might enjoy them too?

Well it funny you should say that Shelley, it was just what I was thinking. I'll see what I can do!

And Hi to Kerry, I just discovered her marvelous art through her blog. Nice to see young talent in stop motion.

I had my visit to Mackinnon and Saunders yesterday, wow, wow, wow. What a place, everyone was so friendly and showing us what they were doing. Met Ian and Pete who were really lovely. The trip was part of my research for the Paul Berry tribute I am doing for Bradford Animation Festival. Whats amazing is that M&S are talking of closing up shop for the day and coming to the tribute. I also found out yesterday that there is a tribute character to Paul Berry in Corpse Bride, which I saw last night...how wonderful!!!

Kerry
Yeah M&S is a very cool place. I was very honoured to animate the Paul Berry cameo in Corpse Bride. As well as being a dear friend, Paul acted as my mentor, and he really pushed me to develop as an animator.
I'm forever grateful to him.
